We are the only group dedicated solely to this railway.

MEMBERS


We welcome people from near or far, of any age, whether as active members, or as ‘armchair’ ones. By increasing our membership, we can achieve our aims more quickly, and have more influence with councils etc. This is the only group dedicated solely to the WC&PR, and we currently have over 100 members, and we’re not an all-male group -  about 12% are female.


Members receive quarterly newsletters, so no matter where you live you can keep up-to-date with what’s happening. We hold six members’ meetings per year, with guest speakers on a range of interesting topics. We have occasional trips to survey the route, and by arrangement with the landowners are able to see otherwise inaccessible stretches. Members also have access to the Members-only pages on this website which contain a lot more information.
