Richard’s models are in O gauge. Shown here are his 0-6-0T Terrier ‘Portishead’, clerestory carriage No 2, and two wagons. He made the carriage whilst in college and cut the sides out of a piece of 1 mm ply. The ironwork on the ends was made in wire with the help of a jig of pins nailed in a piece of wood. He made his own bogies in brass with Slaters split spoke wheels.
