Heritage Railway magazine Issue 104 25 Oct - 21 Nov 2007 had an article on the new Hornby Terrier loco ‘Portishead’ (see Models) including a mention of the WC&P Railway Group, plus a 2 page feature on Col. Stephens.

 

Also Issue 105 22 Nov 2007 had a small article on Page 11 on an enthusiast’s memories of holidays in Portishead in the 1930s and of the WC&PR.  

 

 

 

 

Andrew Ullyott’s superb model of Weston-super-Mare Ashcombe Road was Layout of the Month in Feb 2007 Railway Modeller magazine. It also featured in Model Railway Journal No 162 in November 2005.

 

The March 2011 issue of Railway Modeller has a 4 page article by Andrew Ullyott on modelling the railways run by Colonel Stephens, including the WC&PR.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The December 2006 (Vol 12 Issue 1) Railway Bylines magazine had a 2 page article about the WC&PR including some previously unpublished photos. An earlier issue - February 2002 (Vol 7 issue 3) had a large feature article.
