1861 & 1851 Portishead Census transcriptions - both in two parts -

Part 1 - An alphabetical index by surname and name of all persons living in the village in 1861/1851, cross referred to Part 2. It also contains further analyses of the data

Part 2 - This is in double-page landscape format showing the census details as enumerated in 1861/1851. Original and corrected information is distinguished by the use of italics. Additional information is shown in a notes column.

Both transcriptions can be viewed in Portishead Library or the Local Studies section of Weston Super Mare Reference Library.
