Transition Portishead

The Transition Town movement is rapidly growing with more than 100 towns and villages in the UK and a growing number in other countries now actively involved. Locally movements are under way in Long Ashton, Wrington, Thornbury, Bristol, and now Portishead.

The movement is motivated by the twin problems of Peak Oil and Climate Change which will increasingly impact on the way we live our lives.
